Welcome to Samaday. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Use of the Platform

You may use our platform only for lawful purposes related to renting, buying, or managing properties. Any misuse of the platform — including fraudulent listings, unauthorized data collection, or manipulation of payments — is strictly prohibited.

2. Landlord Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful personal and property information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account and login credentials.
• Use the platform in compliance with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations.
• Ensure timely responses to tenant inquiries and property requests.

3. Property Listings

Landlords are solely responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of property details uploaded on Samaday. We do not guarantee or verify the authenticity of property ownership unless otherwise stated. Misrepresentation or fraudulent listings may result in suspension or permanent account termination.

4. Payments and Platform Commission

All transactions made through Samaday are securely processed via our payment gateway partner (Paystack). To ensure a safe and transparent payment process, the following terms apply:

• When a tenant makes a payment (for rent, booking, or property purchase), the funds are first held by Samaday in a secure escrow system.
• Once the transaction is verified and confirmed, the landlord’s payment is processed and reflected in their dashboard.
• A 3% platform commission is automatically deducted from the total transaction amount before disbursing the balance to the landlord. This covers administrative, maintenance, and transaction processing costs.
• Landlords can view their full payment history and deductions transparently through their Samaday Dashboard.
• Payouts are made to verified bank accounts registered under each landlord’s profile. NIN verification and bank account confirmation may be required before withdrawals.

Note: Payments made outside the Samaday platform are not covered by our policies or dispute resolution system.

5. Dispute Resolution

In case of a dispute between tenant and landlord, Samaday will act as a neutral mediator. Funds may be held until the issue is resolved. We reserve the right to release or refund payments based on verified evidence.

6. Service Updates and Modifications

We may update, suspend, or modify any part of the platform at our discretion, including but not limited to payment structures, features, and terms of service. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

Samaday is not responsible for losses arising from user negligence, false property information, or direct transactions made outside the platform. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees collected through the platform.
